Dear Juniors,

1. The 5th Peer Support Board Recruitment Drive is offically open.

2. The nomination forms are now available at the PSB Notice Board at the canteen.

3. There are 2 types of nominations: 1) Peer-Nomination and 2)Self-Nomination

There are 3 parts to the nomination form - Part A, Part B and Part C

In the event that it is Peer Nomination, the "Nominator" will fill up Part A and sign on the 2nd page before passing to the "Nominee" to fill up Part B.
In the event that it is Self Nomination, the "Nominee" will fill up Part A and Part B himself/herself.

Regardless of whether it is Peer Nomination or Self Nomination, the "Nominee" will pass the form to the Peer Support Leader in charge of his/her class to fill up Part C.
After which, the Peer Support Leader will return all signed and completed forms to the General Office, where there will be a box to collect the nomination forms.

5. The Recruitment Drive closes on 31st July 2009, 1700 hours. Any forms after the deadline will not be entertained.

6. In the case that you are unable to find the forms, please email rv_psb@hotmail.com stating your name, class and subject "Nomination Form". We will then be able to help you.

7. If you have any queries, please leave a tag at the tagboard or email to rv_psb@hotmail.com.

psb is something that very very fun!! in psb, you can get to meet lots of new friends. as the year of events past, you will get closer to your friends and we'll become one big happy family. you get to cheer, dance, and most importantly, HAVE FUN!! to me, psb is all about having fun and bringing fun to others. im sure everyone loves fun haha ^__^ so, JOIN PSB!!! and be a part of our big big happy family XD

A year ago, i was looking at my PSLs, thinking "what tedious jobs they have on hand, trying to make every single one of us listen and cooperate..." And a few months down the road, there I was, A PSL. You might be thinking what was it that made me want to be a PSL after seeing that their job is tedious. The reason behind the way my thinking changed was because I looked beyond what they do during every single session of PSS. I found out that PSLs actually play an important role in the lives of the secondary 1s. We could not have adept so quickly if it were not for them! Okay, but that is not the point!


Firstly, I shall make a self-introduction, i am Foong Hui of 2C and i'm from publicity! :D This decision of joing the 4th PSB was something i have never regretted :D I gained richly from it and i think that my life in RV would not have been so fun-filled if it were not for my other fellow PSLs (and also whatever we do) (:


There are many stuff to look forward to after joining PSB! Firstly, you will get to know many people and make many friends. Secondly, you get to scream your lungs out without getting scolded! Thirdly, there are many interesting activities that are lined-up for you! :D There will be camps and it's one that we would truly enjoy! Also we do CIP and other stuff like conducting PSS! haha.


Do not believe it? Try it out by yourself first by filling in the PSB Recruitment Drive Forms(and submitting them of course)! :D


I have never regretted the decision of mine about a year back. You will only regret not joining!

Hmm.. What do you mean by HARDER?

Whether you are in the process of SC nomination will not affect your joining of PSB.
However, please make sure that you can cope with both SC and PSB commitments when you are Year 2 ok?

Currently, we do have PSLs who are SCs too.
Example...... Captain Shijing!!!
There are quite a number of them now too.. maybe around 9?
So if you feel that you will be able to cope, you are WELCOMED! to join :D

After all, just fill up the form and pass it to us :D
Who knows what will happen ? ;)
It might be the best thing of your life!

ok, besides able to be high and have EQUAL FUNN (like shi jing said). i shall talk a little about my job in PSB other than conducting PSS.

i think the most fun part of being a PSL is painting banners for all sorts of PSB related events...(cos i am in Publicity mah~).yep, we also get to design the PSB tees, the ever changing pretty PSB notice boards in the canteen. and as you all can see, the blog u guys are visiting now is done by us too. From all these banner painting sessions etc, i personally gained ALOT of experience AND laughter working with other psls!

Besides that, i simply adore my job of taking pictures for any PSB events. :3
